You are required to participate in each session according to its mode. Intensive: These classes are delivered in a single block of consecutive days (e.g., Monday to Friday of a single week). Intensives can be from 2 to 5 days long. Dates for intensives are listed in the Timetable. You are required to attend the full intensive. **Staggered:** These classes have staggered delivery times (e.g. fortnightly sessions or 5 particular days throughout the semester). You are required to attend all scheduled days. Self-paced: With our recorded delivery mode you don't have scheduled classes but can view your recorded lectures and other teaching content at your own pace. You must still complete assignments and other assessments by their allocated deadlines. #### Delivery Mode Your class may be delivered fully face-to-face, online or a mix of both. The modes are as follows: Live: Live classes will be delivered either on campus, online live via Zoom or at a specified location. They run at a set time according to their frequency. You must attend live at the scheduled time for each session. **Recorded:** Recorded classes can be watched in your own time, but the expectation is that you will keep up with the (usually) weekly sessions. Blended: Blended classes are a mixture of live and recorded modes. You can watch the recorded parts in your own time and must attend the live component according to its frequency (usually weekly or staggered). #### Other Definitions Class time (by host): This is the time you need to attend class and is written in the local timezone from where the lecturer is located. *For example, if the class is run from the Sydney campus and also available live online. The time you need to be online or in the classroom is the Sydney timezone (AEST/AEDT). You may need to factor in the timezone for some of your classes.* Prerequisite: You can only take this subject if you have completed the prerequisite subject.
